What is 4-H? 4-H is a national organization that provides experiences that show young people how to learn by doing. In Marquette County, the focus is on project-based participation. Youth chose a topic they want to learn more about (photography, cooking, community service) and create a project based on that interest. How can adults be involved? We are always looking for active adults that can partner with 4-H youth to help them learn a new skill! Why should you join? If you are looking interactive way to learn outside of school, on topics you really love, with creative control of the entire process then 4-H is a great option.
Youth in Governance: Serve on the Marquette County Board of Supervisors. Open to Grades 9-11. A great way to learn more about local government and make real change in your community.

Why should you join? (bullet points), learn how local government works, bring your knowledge and unique perspective to contribute to better decisions and productive actions, develop positive relationships with adults on the County Board, become more confident in public speaking and working with adults, Have a voice in decisions that affect you, become an informed and thoughtful citizen.
Marquette County Teen Court: A restorative justice initiative open to grades 9-12. Partake in a local alternative peer jury system that aims to create positive change in youth by keeping them out of the courts and on the right track.
